Montreal Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Montreal Machine wiggled past the Sacramento Redlegs, 4-3, at Stade Olympique. The win was highlighted by the performance of Montreal pitcher Kevin Brown. François Delattre, now 4-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. Montreal sits in 5th place in the Premier AAA at 50-49.
The Machine got a clutch hit from center fielder Oliver Garden. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right-center, to win the game for the Machine.
"This game tested our mettle," said Brown.
