The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds weathered a fine game by Jersey City right fielder Panas Rubanenko to upend the Tritons, 3-2, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Rubanenko went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. Ellenburg reliever Claude Richardson picked up the win, upping his record to 6-1. Anthony Carney absorbed the loss. Jersey City has now lost 4 in a row.

The Fighting Dachshunds got a clutch hit from first baseman Lou Pennington. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Fighting Dachshunds.
