Laakea Enuma was a major factor in the 4-2 Ellenburg win over Jersey City. The Fighting Dachshunds first baseman was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Pedro Hernández, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 0.1 innings. The 9th-place Fighting Dachshunds bumped their record to 43-56.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Enuma hit a curveball from Steffen Benton for a 2-run home run. The Fighting Dachshunds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
