Tritons Win at Home, 4-1

Jersey City pitcher Marc Clemow had a large part in his team beating the Tortolita Drummers, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Cristián Hernández got the save, his 12th in 13 chances. With the victory, the Tritons upped their record to 51-49.
Eric Sullivan had a big 2-run home run for the Tritons in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Jersey City leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a slider from António Cisneros, who is tied for 4th in the PAAA in strikeouts with 99, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Tritons on top, 4-0.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Jersey City manager Steve Bryan.
