Sacramento turned a good effort from starter Marc Clemow into a win over the Baton Rouge Brass at Sacramento Sanitation Station. The final score was 4-2. The 9th-place Redlegs are now 44-58, the Brass 64-38.

Sacramento took the lead, 4-2, on José Alemán's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Baton Rouge pitcher Bhu Pahayahay in the bottom of the eighth.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Alemán. "And not try to do too much."
