Rocketeers Lose to Shredders, 10-6
|
James Bradley did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Seattle Rocketeers from being beaten, 10-6, to the Hollywood Shredders at The Hollywood Bowl. Bradley belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Shredders now own a record of 29-21.
Jesús González had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for the Shredders. Coming up with the bases loaded and Hollywood trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Shredders manager Bill Cheese. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
