The Hollywood Bowl was the site of a competitive game between the Hollywood Shredders and Toronto Thunder.

The Toronto Thunder rode a solid performance from 30-year-old starting pitcher Brandon Fox to a win, beating the Hollywood Shredders, 3-2, at The Hollywood Bowl. Fox yielded 2 runs over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 8-2.

Toronto used the timely hitting of Fuzzy Benas to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Hollywood skipper TJ Reynolds.

Toronto now sports a record of 30-22.
