Voodoo Roll to 8-1 Win Over Bullets

New Orleans picked up a win at The Voodoo Lounge, bumping off the Baltimore Bullets, 8-1. Pitcher Jesús Ramírez was a major reason the Voodoo emerged victorious. New Orleans is now 27-25, while Baltimore is 20-32.
Jorge Valdés went 1 for 3 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs for New Orleans. The 25-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a 2-run single off Dawson Bishop. It was his 54th hit of the season.
"Jesús gave us a heck of an effort," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
