Everhart Brilliant as Patriots Top Thunder, 3-0

In a low-scoring contest, Boston pitcher Jim Everhart was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. Yong-hyun Kim picked up the save, his 2nd. The loss drops Toronto to 3-3.
Everhart's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 10 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 4 hits. Everhart, who is the 2061 Gold Ball winner, goes to 1-1 on the year with 14 strikeouts.
"Jim was really good, wasn't he?" said Boston manager Brian Fahie.
