The Baltimore Bullets defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 12-8, at The Voodoo Lounge. Baltimore was led by 26-year old center fielder Tommy O'Farrell, who went 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The winner was Baltimore reliever Alfonso Crisci, now 4-0. The loser was Paul Harris. The 5th-place Voodoo now sit at 28-26.
Baltimore right fielder Obke Veenman produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the ninth with Paul Harris on the mound and Baltimore leading 9-8. Veenman drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
Veenman called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
