Patriots Top Shredders, 3-0, Behind Cramphorn
|
The Boston Patriots went home winners at Dunkin Donuts Park, thanks in large part to starter Byron Cramphorn. Cramphorn stifled the Hollywood Shredders, enabling Boston to grab the 3-0 win. Iiri Lahti was credited with the save for Boston, his 4th of the season. The third-place Patriots have won 5 straight games.
Cramphorn earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Boston. The native of St. Ann's Bay, Jamaica, allowed just 1 hit, while striking out 7. Hollywood hitters did next to nothing against the left-hander.
"We put together a nice win," Cramphorn said.
