At Dunkin Donuts Park, the Boston Patriots and Hollywood Shredders were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Hollywood Shredders beat the Boston Patriots, 5-2, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Hollywood first baseman Xiao-gang Kong, who finished 2nd in the PL in hits with 129 in 2050, collected 1 single and 1 double with 2 runs batted in. Mark Sims wrapped it up, recording his 12th save.
Hollywood used the timely hitting of Stanley Johnston to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shredders on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
Hollywood manager TJ Reynolds called it "a pretty good win."
The Shredders go to 27-30, putting them 7th in the Premier League.
