Everhart Deals Philadelphia 3-0 Setback
In a tight game between the Boston Patriots and the Philadelphia Liberty, pitcher Jim Everhart was terrific on the mound. The Boston right-hander helped his team to the 3-0 win. Yong-hyun Kim was credited with the save for Boston, his 14th of the season. The 8th-place Liberty now sit at 26-31.

The Liberty had trouble solving Everhart, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
