Lacasa Excels in 7-2 Ft. Worth Win
Ft. Worth and Long Island got after it at The Cattle Pen.

The Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Long Island Lighthouse by the score of 7-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to third baseman Lautaro Lacasa. Lacasa was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Cattlemen on the day. The victory puts Ft. Worth at 21-37.

Lacasa contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Ft. Worth in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Lacasa took a screwball from Bhu Pahayahay and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Cattlemen to leap in front, 3-2.

"It's still just a game," said Lacasa, "whether you win or lose."
