Rainbow Mermaids Earn 10-6 Home Win
The Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids powered past the Seattle Rocketeers, 10-6, at Atlantica. Harvey Thomas provided some of the pop. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. By defeating Seattle, the 6th-place Rainbow Mermaids improved to 30-29.

Northern Virginia got a big at-bat from Van Buren, Arkansas native Jarrod Harris, who in the bottom of the first hit a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 10-0.

"Nice win for us," said Harris. "Now we'll go after the next one."
