The Northville Eclipse picked up a win at Old-Timers Park, knocking off the Lancaster Farmers, 4-3, in 11 innings. Starting pitcher Edgardo García played a key role in the triumph. The win was credited to Patrick Wilder in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Sebastian Mawle took the loss. Lancaster now is 1-1.
The Eclipse got a clutch hit from shortstop Adrik Wirgasoff. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Eclipse.
Wirgasoff said his team "played with determination."
