The Westwood Sixshooters topped the Ottawa Fat Cats, 5-0, in M3L Double A action at Nationals Park. The standout performance belonged to Westwood pitcher and Glencoe, Illinois, native Joe Smith. George Norton closed out the game, earning his 1st save. Ottawa now is 1-3.

Robert Scott dealt the Fat Cats a blow in the top of the fifth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Westwood leading 1-0, Scott hit a full count slider for a 2-run single.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Scott.
