Virginia Beach got an elite performance from starting pitcher Eric Talley in securing a 1-0 decision over the Casper Ghosts. The win gives Virginia Beach a record of 3-3.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Virginia Beach. That's when Ben Nelson hit a solo home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Calvin Godwin to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Talley said.
