Ghosts Pull Off Thrilling 7-5 Win in Extras
The Casper Ghosts defeated the Yakima Hops, 7-5, in 10 innings in M3L Double A action at Hops Park. Casper pitcher Scott Goff had a standout performance. The win went to Maxwell Powers in relief, making him now 2-0. Manny Cruz took the loss for Yakima. Hai-feng Zhu collected his 2nd save.

Hunter Chase drew 2 walks in 5 trips to the plate for Casper. With two out and the game tied in the top of the tenth inning, Chase had a clutch at-bat. Facing Yakima hurler Manny Cruz, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Ghosts a 5-4 lead.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Chase. "But we got it done."

Casper goes to 5-1.
