Swain Helps Virginia Beach Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Virginia Beach Whales topped the Casper Ghosts, 10-3, at The Graveyard. Virginia Beach center fielder Alden Swain was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Casper now is 2-5.

With Virginia Beach leading 5-3 in the top of the eighth, Swain hit a fastball from John Bunch for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Whales ahead, 9-3.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Swain.
