Patriots Upend Voodoo, 6-2

Roberto Soto was a major contributor to the 6-2 Boston win over New Orleans. The Patriots left fielder went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Byron Cramphorn picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 5-5. Boston is now 33-27, New Orleans 30-30.
The Patriots benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Boston was leading 4-2 when Herb Tenney hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Boston in front, 6-2.
"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Soto told the Boston News.
