The Northville Eclipse took Kanzaburo Ichikawa's best shot and still were able to collect a win at The Graveyard. The final score had Northville getting past the Ghosts, 5-4, in 11 innings. Ichikawa over 7.1 innings allowed no runs on 6 hits, while striking out 8. Northville reliever Patrick Wilder picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Gerald Mathews absorbed the loss. Northville has a mark of 4-3 after the win.

Northville used the timely hitting of Clayton Howell to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Eclipse on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Howell.
