Westwood turned a good effort from starter Joe Gordon into a win over the Pine Island Dolphins at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The final score was 3-2. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Manny Rodríguez. Westwood goes to 3-4.
Valentín Vargas had a direct impact on the outcome. Vargas contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Westwood up, 3-2.
