The Yakima Hops downed the Toledo Saboteurs, 6-4, at Toledo Backyard Park. José Javellana led the way, going 1-for-4 for Yakima. Myron Downs earned the save, his 3rd. The win leaves Yakima with a record of 3-4.

Yakima used a well-timed hit by Ricardo González to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hops ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Javellana, "one at-bat at a time."
