Saboteurs Get Thrilling 2-1 Win
|
The Toledo Saboteurs wiggled past the Yakima Hops, 2-1, at Toledo Backyard Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of Toledo pitcher Gunadi Muljana. The win takes Toledo to 6-2.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Toledo third baseman William White, facing Ray Melton, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Saboteurs the 2-1 win.
"Gunadi is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Toledo manager Marc MacAuliffe.
