At Goodyear Hanger Dome, the Pine Island Dolphins and Virginia Beach Whales were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Virginia Beach used a superb performance from starting pitcher Weak Armstrong to down the Pine Island Dolphins, 3-0. With the loss, Pine Island drops to 8-4.

Jesús Figueroa drove in one run for Virginia Beach. The 26-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Eugene Barber. It was his 1st RBI of the season.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Armstrong.
