Spirited fans greeted the Tacoma Fur Traders for their clash with the Minnesota Loons.

Raph Liberato pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Tacoma Fur Traders, despite Liberato's fine outing, dropped a 2-0 decision to the Minnesota Loons at Ballpark of Tacoma. Luis Tobías earned the save for Minnesota, his 4th.

Minnesota used the hitting of Miguel Alonso to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Loons on top, 1-0. For the game, Alonso had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Tacoma manager Jeff Rutherford.

To call the performance of the 2-11 Fur Traders woeful so far is an understatement.
