Fat Cats Take Nail-Biter Over Dolphins
|
Ottawa catcher Gus Swanson picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Pine Island Dolphins, 4-3. The win moves Ottawa to a record of 6-7.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Swanson hit a curveball from Bryan Abdale for a run-scoring single. The Fat Cats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Jorge Carranza.
