The Kingston Ponies defeated the Buckhead Bowties, 7-5, in part because of left fielder Mitsuo Suzuki. Suzuki was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Ponies. The 11th-place Ponies have a record of 16-22.

Suzuki had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 0-1 fastball from Tristan Liefting, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Ponies a 7-5 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Suzuki.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Suzuki told the Kingston Daily.
