The Dayton Dirty Reds got great pitching from 23-year old right-handed pitcher Glenn Hughes, allowing them to bump off the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 4-0. Ethan Henry recorded the save for Dayton, his 1st of the season. The third-place Dirty Reds sport a record of 24-14.

Hughes confounded Cape Coral hitters. Over 8.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.

"Glenn made some big pitches when he needed to," said Dirty Reds manager David Dodds.
