Sosa Delivers Walk-Off Win for Northern Lions BC
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, behind a great outing from Hakizimana Kipkorir, who finished 2nd in the 3L in wins with 10 in 2047, defeated the D.C. Divided, 2-0, at Great Northern Field. Thunder Bay reliever Daniel Ricciardo picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Lou Thompson absorbed the loss. The Northern Lions BC go to 16-23, putting them 9th in the Third League.

Thunder Bay got a knockout punch from Claudio Sosa. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This was a game where every at-bat, every pitch counted," said Sosa.
