Loss to Shredders Extends Ft. Worth Losing Streak
Ft. Worth third baseman Chun-yeong Pyon pounded Hollywood Shredders pitchers at The Hollywood Bowl, but it was not enough to keep the Cattlemen from falling, 13-6. Pyon hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Hollywood reliever Ismael Mena picked up the win, raising his record to 2-2. Tim Strong was tagged with the loss. The 6th-place Cattlemen have lost 7 consecutive games.

Rubén Nuañez, who is tied for 5th in the PL with a .315 batting average, had a timely hit in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out and the bases loaded, the Hollywood first baseman hit a 2-run single. That put the Shredders in front, 7-5.

"It never gets old," said Nuañez. "Winning, that is."
