|
Good production from catcher Keith Stevens helped the Colorado Billy Goats topple the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-3. Stevens was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Billy Goats. Tony Hensley finished the game for Colorado and earned his 11th save. The Colorado winning streak has reached 3 games.
Eichiro Kaneko had a big 3-run home run for the Billy Goats in the bottom of the third inning. With Colorado leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Luke Riley and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 8th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Billy Goats ahead, 5-1.
