Despite a great performance by Cape Coral third baseman Ramón Morán, the Buckhead Bowties defeated the Hurricanes by the score of 9-5 at 5 Paces Park. Morán was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Buckhead raised its record to 20-20 with the win.

Saul Goodman had a big 2-run double for the Bowties in the bottom of the third inning. With Buckhead leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Janghyun Han, who led the 3L in strikeouts with 200 in 2055, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bowties ahead, 4-1.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Goodman told the Buckhead Citizen.
