The New Orleans Voodoo topped the Toronto Thunder, 6-4, in United States Premier League action at Thunder Field. The standout performance belonged to New Orleans pitcher and Lincoln Village, Ohio, native John Mustard. Mustard yielded 2 runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 4. His record improves to 2-2. Dexter Yates, who is rated as the 79th best prospect by BNN, nailed down the save.

Les Moore hit a 2-run triple off Brandon Fox in the top of the fourth, which put the Voodoo in front, 2-0. Moore had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 3.
