The Buckhead Bowties defeated the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 4-2, at 5 Paces Park. Buckhead designated hitter Mike Blake had a superb performance. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Bowties, at 21-22, sit in 8th place in the Third League.

Bikila Ayinde hit a 2-run home run off Howard Randolph in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Bowties ahead, 4-2. In addition to the homer, Ayinde had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Blake told the Buckhead News.
