The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC defeated the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 7-5, at Great Northern Field. Thunder Bay third baseman Tyler Harris had a superb performance. He was 1 for 1 with 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Thunder Bay is 21-23 and Vancouver, with the loss, 28-16.

The Northern Lions BC got a big hit from center fielder Hedde Wierenga. Facing Vancouver pitcher Dionísio Zagallo in the bottom of the sixth, Wierenga pounded a run-scoring double to center. His 1st double of the season put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 5-3.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Wierenga.
