A 4-RBI performance from the 27-year old second baseman Jorge Salinero helped the D.C. Divided beat the Kingston Ponies, 10-6. D.C., now 22-22, holds down 5th place in the Third League.

In the bottom of the sixth, Salinero put his team in front with his 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Hui Loh, made it 9-5, D.C..

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Salinero.
