Leonard Ramírez, who is tied for 10th in the 3L in quality starts with 5, had a strong outing for the Buckhead Bowties against the Nova Scotia Leviathan at 5 Paces Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Victor Brown notched his 2nd save of the season. With the win over Nova Scotia, the Bowties improved to 22-23.

Buckhead went in front, 4-2, on Ed House's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which House hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Nova Scotia pitcher Wilson Phillips visibly perturbed.

"Leonard is a tough competitor," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister.
