Cape Coral Defeated By Battery, 9-5

Thanks in large part to first baseman Wilbert Bradley, the Charleston Battery beat the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 9-5. Bradley was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The Battery saw their record improve to 28-18.
Charleston grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Bradley hit a 3-run home run off Bob Smithley. His 6th home run of the season put the Battery out in front, 6-3.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Bradley told the Charleston Today.
