Leviathan second baseman Efren Cereza left his mark on his team's 8-3 win over the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC. Cereza, who is tied for 7th in the 3L in stolen bases with 7, went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Nova Scotia in the contest. The 5th-place Leviathan sport a record of 24-22.

With Nova Scotia leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Cereza hit a fastball from Zebulon Pike for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Leviathan ahead, 4-1.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Cereza.
