Hurricanes Get One-Run Win at Charleston
|
The Cape Coral Hurricanes grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Charleston Battery at Charleston Armory. Cape Coral center fielder Miguel Ayaly hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The 9th-place Hurricanes have a record of 19-28.
Cape Coral grabbed control in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Jesús Casquete delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 4-3, in favor of the Hurricanes.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Casquete.
