Hollywood Shredders starter Bob Kelso kept the Ft. Worth Cattlemen hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Kelso, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in strikeouts with 78, went the distance for Hollywood. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. This loss makes it 8 in a row for Ft. Worth.

Hollywood took the lead, 7-2, on Robert Price's 4th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Ft. Worth pitcher Tony Correa in the bottom of the eighth.

Price told a Hollywood Chronicle reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
