Chávez Helps Buckhead Cruise to 10-3 Win
Bowties designated hitter Héctor Chávez left his imprint on his team's 10-3 win over the Kingston Ponies. Chávez went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Buckhead in the contest. The Bowties, now 25-22, have won 8 in a row.

Francisco Guerrero had a big 2-run double for the Bowties in the top of the first inning. With Buckhead leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Claude Simon and swatted a double to right. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bowties ahead, 3-0.

"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said Buckhead skipper Kerry Hofmeister.
