The Charleston Battery defeated the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 5-0, at Charleston Armory. Leading the charge for Charleston was first baseman Wilbert Bradley. He went 4-4 with 4 singles, while scoring 2. Pham Phung picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-1. He struck out 5 in 7 innings. The Battery improved their record to 29-19 by beating Cape Coral.

Chad Ware, who is tied for 5th in the 3L in triples with 3, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, the Charleston second baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Battery in front, 1-0.

Bradley called the win "a collective effort."
