Ben Hardy was a vital contributor to the 6-5 D.C. victory over Nova Scotia. The Divided third baseman was 2-3 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. D.C. starter Jeremy Robinson was credited with the win after throwing 119 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 6-3. The save went to Lou Thompson, number 6 for him.

D.C. took a 6-5 lead on Hardy's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Dan Cortés in the bottom of the seventh, propelled D.C. to the win.

"When the ball finds the sweet spot," said Hardy, "I can't complain."
