Dayton Rallies for 9-4 Victory
The Vancouver Grey Wolves could not turn a fine performance from second baseman Jeff Moultrie into a win. Instead, the Dayton Dirty Reds prevailed, 9-4, in 13 innings. Moultrie went 4-6 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Dayton is first in the Third League with a record of 31-17.

Dayton used the clutch hitting of Vasan Parthiban to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run double in the top of the 13th inning to give the Dirty Reds the lead, 6-4. For the game, Parthiban had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Vancouver manager David Krause.
