Battery Take Nail-Biter Over Hurricanes
The Charleston Battery picked up a win at Charleston Armory, taking down the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 4-3, in 14 innings. On the mound for Charleston was right-hander Pham Phung. He played a central role in the triumph. The Battery improved their record to 23-25 with the win over Cape Coral.

Christian Weaver clinched the win with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 14th. In the game, the Charleston left fielder went 1-5 with 2 walks.

"This place went bonkers," Weaver said.
