Scott Bishop, who is tied for 2nd in the 3L in strikeouts with 63, was locked in. The right-hander led the Oakland Oaks to a 4-2 win against the Cape Coral Hurricanes at Factory of Sadness. Oakland sits in 6th place in the Third League at 25-25.

Oakland used a well-timed hit by Jorge Morales to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Oaks ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We put together a nice win," Bishop said.
