Starting pitcher Juan Hernández pitched well enough to help the Vancouver Grey Wolves beat the Kingston Ponies, 5-3. The losses continue to mount for Kingston, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Tied up with the Ponies in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Grey Wolves got a boost from catcher Matt George. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, George saw a 1-0 sinker from Jim Smith and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Vancouver on top, 4-3.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Hernández.
