Durán Helps Seattle Outscore Buffalo
The Seattle-Buffalo matchup turned into a real hit parade.

The 11-10 Seattle win over Buffalo was due in large part to Andrés Durán. The Rocketeers designated hitter was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Reliever Ben van de Loo picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Keizo Baba, who finished 5th in the PL in saves with 14 in 2054, took the loss.

U-ram Chong, who is on pace for 91 RBI this season, was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Seattle. In a tie game with one out in the top of the eighth, Chong came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Rocketeers in front, 11-10.

"What a game," said Durán. "We needed every last run."

Seattle now sports a record of 34-29.
